Why publish with Eleven?

Publishing with Eleven is an opportunity to participate actively in a rigorous editorial review process, with room to learn and grow within an undergraduate context. With Eleven, hone your writing skills, receive valuable feedback during discussions about your research, and, of course, boost your graduate school applications. We encourage students of all undergraduate majors to submit, so long as projects are rooted in sociological inquiry. Eleven publishes both short (10-25 pages) and long papers (35-65 pages). We accept submissions made within the last 3 years, so our application is open to recent graduates as well.

What kinds of work do you publish?

Eleven publishes excellent undergraduate work with sociological relevance. Our journal includes papers from all fields of research, not just Sociology! We accept both short (10-25 pg.) and long (35-65 pg.) papers. See our previous volumes for an example of the length and subject matter Eleven publishes! We accept submissions from students of national and international universities as well.
